Hmmm – I live in Florida about 1 hour from Ocala. I don't know if I would recommend any lake to an outsider who doesn't know the area well enough — hello? gators? You risk your life in some of these lakes. Make sure you read up on whether the borders are netted to keep those gators away – or whether there have been recent attacks… Even a little one will take a chunch out of you.

I'm curious. Was this a paid promotion from different park boards? If not, why were these locations chosen? Most states have much more beautiful places you could have featured.

    Scenic Bear National Park?! LOL
It is Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, but yeah- pretty stunning!
Also, the Upper Peninsula (also a part of Michigan) has a lot of spectacular spots as well, my favorite of which being Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Zion National Park is absolutely amazing, especially at sunset when the cliffs turn red. Arches would be cool, but Zion is the best park in Utah. Also… I would’ve liked to see Montana.
