I think Kyrgyzstan will be the next hot spot for backpackers as it's a bit of a hidden gem still and not that many people visiting YET. Those landscapes are just insane! Brb booking a trip 😄

I have been in Singapore before. Well it is a tiny country with no wild sightseeing at all. It is interesting to stay 2 days waiting for your flight to your next destination.

I want to go visit Pakistan. I've heard a lot about Hunza Valley, northern areas and Himalayas etc. And after watching Eva zu Beck and Mark Weins, I am dying to go there😭😭😭

I travelled over 4 years and I have to agree that Japan and Peru are AMAZING countries to visit. Affordability wise Peru definitely tops it though. Definitely go between may and Sept if ya keen visiting BEAUTIFUL mountains around Huaraz and Cusco (seriously after hiking through here I felt numb at Torres del paine). From Dec it's a rainy season so you have a higher chance to see clouds. Japan for its unique culture, nature, onsen and food! I haven't been to Sri Lanka and Kyrgyzstan but I definitely have met some travellers who were raving about these places. I personally am not a huge fan of SG, rather prefer Malaysia but i guess it's each to their own. Apart from these, Brazil, Turkey, Iran, Poland and Myanmar are my top picks
