The Grossglockner is much more beautiful without Fog and Rain, but there is also much more Tourism at better Conditions. By the way, we here in Austria just call it the "Glockner" because "Gross" means Big, and we ain't got no small one, so you can spare it! Will be easier to pronounce for English speakers. 😉 I've never been to Romania but the Transfagarasan looks great! Thanks for the tip, I'll set it on my List!
the roads are not so good on the Transfagarasan, however it is worth a ride. I also recommend the Transalpina which is near by, but better road and faster track
Agree on the Transfagarasan, but the road surface quality can be very poor in places. OK, but can be risky if you're pushing on (pot-holes, gravel on corners, etc). Foolishly missed the Transalpina, despite traversing much of Romania… It's a great country to explore and I will certainly return one day! Thanks.
I found Transalpina better than Transfagarasan. And yes.. Romania is a great place to visit. 12 days of wild camping – no problems. Italy and Austria are too expensive
12:26 I highly recommend you doing a cornering training for motorcycles! Your style of riding looks extremely unconfident and intersecting corners esp. in the alps is very dangerous!!!
Transalpina or The King's road….was bild first by romans almost 1900 years ago( to carry the gold from Apuseni M-ti) and refurbushed by king Carol- I ,150years ago…
"Tourism flooding these places with visitors in cars, campers, motorcycles, cyclists, buses and Pedestrians". LoL! He is one himself. I stick to the lesser known and more spectacular ones.
Boet, if you ever get the chance, South of Spain and the Canary islands have some truly spectacular and very good roads. Long way from Poland, though.
Thank you for the kind words about Romania! You Sir have my subscription! Keep up the good work!
Тransalpina is the best :)))))
nice vid mate…..what part of South Africa you from?

i like your video
When you've been in Romania passing Transfagarasan? It is usually crowded especially on the weekends – people just stop around the road and make bbq.
Europe is an AMAZING place. Great nature, cities, food, people and culture. No other place in the world comes close.
I had difficulty hearing your commentary through all that garbage background music.
The chances to get your bike stolen are much higher in London..
